We’ll discuss a few players, some unsung heroes that played a significant role in New England Patriots history. We’ll start with the offensive guard that has the Pro Bowl appearances,
John Hannah. John Hannah is a Hall of Famer, inducted in 1991 and also has attended 9 Pro Bowls. He played under the famous Paul “Bear” Bryant at University of Alabama in 1970-72. Jon Morris, played center for the Patriots between 1964 and 1974. Of those 11 years, Jon was invited to 7 Pro Bowls. Jon also played for the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears the remaining four years of his career. Well, since we’re discussing lineman, we need to talk about
Bruce Armstrong. Bruce played his entire career with the Patriots from 1987 to 2000. Bruce is a 6 time Pro Bowler, he was invited 1990, 1991 and 1994 through 1997. New England Patriot roster has had many Pro Bowlers and All Pro players, it is always impressive when Pro football player has a decade or more of experience with one team as the players we just mentioned do.
