His sack numbers made it to the double digits every season, with over 132 in his career. Lawrence Taylor unprecedented performance placed him into the Hall of Fame in 1999. In 1981, 1982 and 1986 L.T. was name A.P. defensive player of the year, 1981 was particularly unique considering he received the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year too. An old time player Rosey Brown started with the Giants in 1953. Rosey played Left Tackle for his entire 13 year career with the Giants. Rosey Brown is a 9 time Pro Bowler. During the same time period, Frank Gifford played for the Giants too. He also was a significant part of New York Giants history. Frank is an 8 time Pro Bowler and played for the Giants from 1952 to 1964, his entire 13 year NFL career. He had over 3,500 rushing yards and over 5,400 receiving yards. Franks diverse talents awarded him a spot in the Hall Of Fame, inducted in 1977. The New York Giants historical roster held some of the top names in NFL history, names that will be remembered for many years to come.
